Root Canal

Most people don’t know what a root canal is, but it’s quite simple. If the pulp (soft living tissue) in your tooth is damaged or dies, the tooth can become infected, causing great discomfort. Root canals are a treatment that will allow for the infection to be removed and the space that is created is then filled with an inert material, leaving behind the structure of the tooth and eliminating the source of the infection., we remove the pulp, leaving an empty space called the root canal. Following the completion of the root canal the tooth overtime can become brittle and weak, therefore we fabricate a crown immediately following the root canal in order to stabilize the tooth for many years to come.
